Why It Matters: The office property portfolio is managed by various teams using different specialized software. This workflow eliminates data silos by creating a single, unified view of the entire portfolio. It empowers asset managers allowing them to see everything from leasing activity to financial performance in one place.
How It Works: We gather data from several best-in-class systems. DealCloud provides the foundational deal and property information. VTS is a leasing platform and supplies detailed lease data. Argus is used for financial modeling and provides cash flow projections. Finally, Yardi, the accounting system, provides the actual financial results. All this data is fed into the central data platform, Cherre. Cherre acts as a universal translator, taking the different property and account codes from each system and mapping them to a single, consistent DealCloud ID.
Key Data & Transformations:
Data Sources: DealCloud, VTS, Argus, Yardi.
Key Data: Property ID, Lease Abstracts, Cashflow Rates, Occupancy, Property Trial Balances.
Detailed Transformations:
Property Mapping: A central mapping table (property_mapping_office) is used to translate the yardi_property_code from the Yardi Trial Balance to the master dealcloud_id.
Account Mapping: A separate mapping table (account_mapping_office) is used to standardize the yardi_account_code to a consistent, master chart of accounts.
Aggregation: Data from all sources (VTS, Argus, Yardi) is joined and aggregated using the master dealcloud_id as the primary key.
End Result: The unified dataset powers a series of interactive dashboards for Office Asset Managers. These dashboards provide deep insights into operational performance, tenant and lease details, and overall financial health, enabling faster and more informed decision-making.
