Why It Matters: Similar to the other portfolios, the Anaplan models for hotel assets depend on accurate and consistent data. This workflow ensures that data from various hotel management systems is properly unified before being sent to Anaplan.

How It Works: The workflow gathers data from three distinct systems: Hotel BIS (for full-service hotels), STR Reports (for market data), and Aimbridge (for select-service hotels). This data is collected in the central platform, Cherre, where it undergoes a crucial normalization and standardization process. This step ensures that data from these different sources can be compared and aggregated accurately.

Key Data & Transformations:

  • Data Sources: Hotel BIS, STR Reports, Aimbridge.

  • Key Data: Hotel Financials, Market Data.

Detailed Transformations:

  • Data Normalization: The core transformation is taking data from three different sources with unique structures and standardizing it into a single, consistent format that Anaplan can ingest. This includes aligning data types, field names, and structures.

End Result: The unified dataset is sent to Anaplan on a recurring schedule, providing the accurate data needed for financial modeling and performance analysis of the hotel portfolio.
